Absolutely stunning rare vintage 1970s Jean Varon pastel blue maxi dress. Jean Varon is the brainchild of fashion designer John Bates. Bates created the brand 'Jean Varon' in 1959, and his designs have been loved ever since. Any vintage collector hunts to have a Jean Varon design in their wardrobe :) This beautiful piece is made from a pastel blue fabric, with a pleated dress underneath a sheer sequin edged kaftan style overlay. It is in excellent condition for its age, and is beautifully made. It's simple, elegant and the sequin edges add some glamour to the overall design.
